It's time for tea once again! An estimated 10,000 Ohioans stood on the statehouse lawn to peacefully protest the expansion of our federal government and support a resolution to assert states' rights (via the 10th Amendment). Andrew Napolitano, a Fox News Senior Judicial Analyst and New Jersey Superior Court judge, inspired the crowd with his nonpartisan view of our government's assault on the Constitution, citing both the Patriot Act (under a Republican president and Congress) and the current efforts of this Democratic president and Congress. He encouraged us to remain engaged and hold our leaders accountable, ending his speech with a quote from the honorable Thomas Jefferson, "When the government fears the people, there is liberty. When people fear the government, there is tyranny." Other speakers touched on the 2nd Amendment and issues concerning our state, such as the proposed income tax increase.
